1796 Draped Bust Dime. NCS graded Details of About Good-3. Damaged and improperly cleaned. Lightly toned. This is the first year of issue, 1796, and one of only two years in which the mint struck draped bust, small eagle dimes. A die break at the 17 in the date identifies this obverse (PCGS # 4461) .
