[Kaiulani] Vintage Childhood Photo of the Heir Apparent of Hawaii. Cabinet photo, 6½ x 4¼ in., of Kaiulani as a young girl. Imprint by Montano, Honolulu, HI on the verso. Kaiulani stares off camera at something or someone, seemingly unaware that her picture is being taken. Kaiulani spent a happy childhood on her family's estate in Waikiki, called Ainahau, where, as part of the Hawaiian royal family, she met many interesting people, both Hawaiian and non Hawaiian.
