1924 Huguenot-Walloon Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Frosty and untoned, this is one of the earlier Commemorative pieces. Barred from settling in New France (Newfoundland to Louisiana), many Huguenots nevertheless moved to North America, settling instead in the Dutch colony of New Netherland (later incorporated into New York and New Jersey), as well as the Thirteen Colonies of Great Britain and Nova Scotia (PCGS # 9314) .
