Two Vintage Engravings of Napoleonic Wars. Two Vintage French engravings " Bataille De Saint George Près Mantoue" engraved by Jean Duplessi-Bertaux after Carle Vernet, printed by Goyer, Paris. Image measures 11½ x 15 inches, full measure 13 x 18½ inches. "(1796)" has been written in ink on the lower bottom border. The picture features a vast array of soldiers in battle; the other engraving of (possibly) the 1812 Battle of Smolensko (the first major battle of the French invasion of Russia), no printed artistic and publishing credits given, image measures: 11½ x 16 inches, full print measures: 16 x 20 inches. The picture features Napoleon commanding his troops in battle. Both items are aged toned. Overall very good+.
