Israel. Rare Pair of 45mm Silver Presentation State Medals 1971 Bank of Israel and 1973 Tel Aviv-Yafo. The Bank of Israel obverse has a Hebrew and English inscription "Bank of Israel" and six subjects found on ancient Hebrew and/or Modern Israel coins. The reverse depicts a schematic panorama of Jerusalem, and the inscription "Jerusalem" in Hebrew and English. Only 250 made from 47gm of .935 silver. The Tel Aviv-Yafo obverse depicts the Tel Aviv-Yafo municipal emblem. Below, an inscription in Hebrew "Tel Aviv-Yafo" and on the right the name of the city in English. On the rim, the citation "Again I shall build thee" in Hebrew and English. The source is marked in both languages as "Jeremiah 31:4." The reverse shows a stylized panorama of Tel Aviv-Yafo; one sees the Shalom Tower, the Hilton Hotel, the Tel Aviv Museum, the Basketball Stadium, the Central Synagogue, the Mann Auditorium, Habimah Theatre, and Tel Aviv University. A small, unknown number made from 40gm of .935 silver. Estimate Value $300 - 400
