1867 Quarter Dollar Round Liberty. Breen and Gillio-805. Low Rarity 5. PCGS graded MS-65. Light golden toning. Notice the spiral lines in the reverse field where the die was turned on a lathe during preparation. Usually these are buffed off by the minter before use, but in this instance they still show. The R of DOLLAR overlaps the wreath when the maker mis-judged the space required. Pop 7; 4 finer in 66 (PCGS # 10666) .
