Collection of Theater and Opera Greats including Gershwin, Inge, Bing and Atkinson. Collection of autographs from the world of theater and opera. 1) First Day Cover celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Joseph Pulitzer signed by the legendary Ira Gershwin (1896 - 1983) librettist, lyricist and brother of composer George Gershwin. Also signed by playwright William Inge, Archibald MacLeish, George Kelly, poet Author Miller, postmarked April 1947. 2) a typed letter signed by Brooks Atkinson on NY Times letterhead, arguably the greatest, most influential theater critic in the nation for 35 years, his contributions commemorated with a Broadway theater changed to his name in 1960. 3) a printed excerpt from the autobiography 5000 Nights at the Opera and signed by Sir Rudolph Bing himself, one of the all-time great opera impresario's of the Metropolitan Opera.
