1866 Quarter Dollar Octagonal Liberty. BG-708. High Rarity 4. NGC graded MS-65. Nicely toned atop frosty mint luster, this being one of the Period Two strikes with a large Liberty head encircled by 9 stars. No fraction bar on reverse. LAR is crude (overpunched?) and crowded together against the wreath. Pop 2; 2 finer, 1 in 66, 1 in 67.
