1853 Half Dollar Octagonal Liberty. Breen and Gillio-302. Low Rarity 4. PCGS graded AU-58. Peacock reverse. Very popular type with lovely modeling of the Liberty head. Double-edge on the coronet. FD behind head for the makers, Frontier & Deviercy who were in business from 1852-56. Lightly toned. Pop 23; 67 finer (PCGS # 10422) .
