1804 Draped Bust Half Cent. "Spiked chin". . C-7, R4. Fine-15. Sharpness VF30 but the obverse fields were carefully abraded for no apparent reason. No marks or roughnerss, and the reverse is flawless. The obverse is retoned glossy dark steel and chocolate; the reverse is attractive glossy steel brown and chocolate with frosty lighter steel brown in protected areas. Extremely rare M-LDS, Manley state 6.0. The cud break at OF-A now touches the top of the O. Another important example of this tough variety.
