1807 Draped Bust Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64 P.Q. An incredibly choice example that in our opinion ranks as an absolute gem, thus our Premium Quality designation. The strike is well above average as most specimens show considerably weakness around the borders and denticles. This beauty boasts of "freshness" with its nearly full strike, golden frosty mint luster and delicate light toning. Here is an absolutely marvelous example of our early Draped Bust design, free from the minting problems that plague so many others of this type. Easily among the finer known as this beauty sits high within the condition census. PCGS reports only 6 at this level with 2 in MS-65 and 1 in MS-67. We proudly offer a coin that should stir some competitive juices among type collectors (PCGS # 5316) .
Estimated Value $30,000 - 40,000.

Realized $40,250
