1799 Draped Bust Dollar. PCGS graded VF-35. Lightly toned. Recall that some of the marks and hairlines are on these early bust dollars, but others that appear to be hairlines are actually on the grading holders, which the camera, ever dutiful to the image it sees, pick up and shows in the accompanying photographs. This is a pleasing, well struck and attractively toned example of the 1799 issue (PCGS # 6878) .
