1855 N-10 R1 Slanted 55. MS-60. 12-Star Obverse. Lightly cleaned and retoned frosty golden brown with hints of sea-green overtone on the reverse. A tiny speck of darker toning above the right side of star 2 is the only notable mark. EDS, die state b, with star 6 flat due to a die clog, the so-called 12-star die state for this variety. Star 1 is weak but has a way to go before it fills completely to create the 11-star version.
