Bust of the deified Ptolemy III right, wearing radiate diadem and aegis; trident over left shoulder. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣΠTOΛEMAIOY, radiate and filleted cornucopiae; ΔI below. Svoronos 1117; SNG Copenhagen 196; Boston MFA 2283; Kraay & Hirmer 803. Stylish portrait, well struck up. With gentle wear and lacking the marks and scuffs so often seen on these massive gold pieces.
