1846 N-12 R1 Tall Date VF35. Five points sharper with some minor contact marks on the obverse, including a pair of very short scratches under star 2. Nice glossy medium brown. LDS, die state h, with a bold rim cud break from star 2 to star 5 and another equally strong one from star 5 to star 6. The margins of these rim cuds are well defined. Third finest of only 13 known, and the rim cuds on several of the other 10 are weak and poorly defined. Another very important die state for the advanced collector of late date cents. DWH #3332.
