Slightly Circulated 1836 J-60 Original Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 53. One of the original 1,000 struck which slipped into circulation for awhile. The rims show some peripheral toning, but are mostly untoned, light at the centers. Most of the eagle's breast feathers remain, and the details on Liberty are still present even with the light wear. A lovely coin despite its hairlines from circulation.
