Persian, Amlash. Bronze Spearhead, ca. 1200-1100 BC. A sizeable spearhead in the style of an Amlash Type 1 spear. Has with an elongated, leaf-shaped double-edged blade; mid-rib, broad with inwardly curved shoulders; shaft, square tang that tapers to a flat end. This is a sturdy heroic weapon with a few nicks in the blade, showing some battle use. Length: 16 inches (40.5 cm).
