Mexico. Cob 8 Escudos, 1714-Mo-J. Fr-6; KM-57.2. Philip V. Crowned arms. Reverse: Cross. Recovered from the Spanish Treasure Fleet sunk off the Florida coast during a hurricane on July 30, 1715. Unpriced in Uncirculated in KM. Bold full date and virtually all of the legends. This is truly an exceptional example and thus very rare this nice. NGC graded MS-63.
