Lot 1320

1804 S-266c R2. About Good-3 Plus. Glossy chocolate brown. Smooth surfaces, the only notable defect being an old pinscratch from the throat to the hair ribbon. This scratch is disjointed and blends perfectly into the attractive toning. The date is easily readable, although the bottom of the 4 fades into the rim below, LIBERTY is strong, and at least half the reverse legend is clear. LDS, Breen state IV, with cud breaks at RTY and MERIC.
Estimated Value $500 - 750.
Ex J. J. Teaparty 1966-D. W. Fischer 1973-Thomas Wolf.

Realized $1,323
