Lot 1188

1934-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-66. Mostly white. Satin fields rippling with cartwheel luster. The more matte designs stand out nicely against this finish. Virtually no toning, just silver-white color. All this is perhaps obvious from the photos. What we need to emphasize as well is that the strike is uncustomary in being crisp for a 1934-S, and rare so, with sharp metal flows into the deepest recesses of the Liberty and the eagle on both sides. Pop 81; 5 in 67 (PCGS # 6594) .
Estimated Value $4,000 - 4,200.
