1938-D/S overmintmark Buffalo. NGC graded MS-67. A superb gem with exquisite color: the toning is vivid and enchanting, a blend of gold and blue. Few indeed are the Buffaloes with this kind of eye appeal. Additionally, the strike is perfect. The consignor asked us to point out that the mintmark is actually, in his opinion, three separate Ds over S. One for the pure enthusiast!
