1846 N-16 R5- Tall Date PCGS graded AU55. Choice glossy chocolate brown with frosty olive and steel toning covering the protected areas. Excellent eye appeal. The only mark of any significance is a nick under star 10. EDS, die state a, prior to the obverse rim cud breaks. The fine die finishing lines are crisp. Our grade is AU50+, close to AU55. An important example of this tough variety, CC#4 in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 1; none finer at PCGS in BN.
