Lot 1070

1846 N-3 R2 EF40. Glossy light to medium chocolate brown. Excellent eye appeal for the grade with only a couple trivial marks. The notable ones are a small spot of darker chocolate toning in the field before the nose and a tiny rim nick above star 5. Rare LDS, die state e, with strong rim cud breaks above TES OF. The cuds are bold on this example. Tied for CC#6 among those known with the rim cuds, and it comes with an important provenance.
Estimated Value $150-UP.
