1884-S Morgan Dollar. ANACS graded MS-60. A white example. Scarce date in Mint State. This year is one of the anomalies in the series: relatively high mintage but extremely low survival in Mint condition. It seems a good many either went into circulation or were melted, one or the other. To find a lustrous white example like the present frosty '84-S takes a little doing, so give it a strong bid (PCGS # 7156) .
