Lot 102

1847 N-11 R4 PCGS graded AU55. A beautiful cent that looks choice and very close to mint state, but there is a collection of tiny pinpricks left of the O in OF. Otherwise the surfaces are virtually flawless. Very attractive glossy light chocolate brown. Satiny mint frost covers the protected areas on both sides. EDS, die state a. The obverse die is unbroken. A quite decent example of a variety that is difficult to find in high grade. Our grade is EF45. The attribution and Iskra provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 1 finer in 63 for the variety at PCGS. Estimated Value $200-UP
