1854 N-26 R3. PCGS graded MS-65 Red & Brown. Lustrous mint red fading to bluish steel and light olive brown. Mint red remains on 20% of the obverse and at least 60% of the reverse. The only marks on otherwise flawless, satiny surfaces are a speck of darker toning in the dentils left of the date, a tiny spot over the second T in STATES, and a small nick under the N in CENT. MDS. Our grade is MS63, tied for CC#4 in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; tied for finest graded at PCGS for the variety.
