Lot 1323		1911. PCGS graded MS-65. Well struck by the dies and with excellent surfaces as required for the Gem graded from PCGS. The headdress on Libety and the eagle both show just a few minor nicks from bag handling, far finer than usually seen for this early Indian eagle. A prize for the date or type specialist to acquire. Lot 1326		1913. NGC graded MS-65. Boldly struck and quite impressive quality for this conditionally challenging date. The surfaces are satiny and smooth, with just a few light bagmarks found when carefully examined. The Indian Eagle series is one of the hardest to complete in Gem grades, even so called "common" dates become major condition rarities. This mint state example shows the usual bag handling marks, but the luster is intact and the date and mintmark feature are clear.
