Sterling Silver Cuff With Large Cabochon of Classic Blue Gem Turquoise (Nevada). Made by Navajo silversmith John Yazzie. The blue colors of the turquoise are almost iridescent, and the small light blue circles subcategorize it as "water web" turquoise. The silver is hand-chiseled by John. The size is 7¼", with little flexibility. "Water web" is similar to the "birds eye" matrix. There are areas of lighter blue in the turquoise with a water-like blue-green matrix encircling them. The "birds eye" matrix is much darker blue with a more defined outline. $500 - 750

Elaborate Handcrafted 22 Kt. Gold Greek Revival Earrrings. Large 22 kt. gold chandalier-style earrings distinguished by their microscopic granulation and filigree details. From the ear hook is suspected a central medallion with granulated concentric circles framing a raised rosette and scrollwork with six raised four-petaled flowers. From this medallion, four finely rendered chains terminate in delicate urn-shaped pendants. At the bottom of the medallion, a tiny bird, sculpted fully in the round, is suspended, and beneath the bird hangs an inverted cone topped by four dots, four spheres, four tiny flowers, and a four-sided decorative feature incorporating spirals and leafy designs. Himalayan Eye Bead Necklace. Himalayan necklace of very old green turquoise beads alternating with extremely fine old deep red coral beads. The turquoise beads are formed of variously sized pieces of turquoise set into a bituminous matrix and then shaped, polished, and drilled for suspension. The central black, circular bead of lignite jet is slightly domed on the decorative side, upon which appears a rough hexagonal design formed of small rectangular white stones set side by side into a channel carved into the surface of the circular bead's outer edge. The overall appearance of this central black bead is that of an "eye bead," the likes of which have been produced in many materials by various cultures since at least 3000 B.C.E. in Europe, Asia, and Africa, and which are typically associated with healing and protective powers. Eye bead circa 19th century C.E. or much earlier. Necklace with modern silver hook and eye closure. Length: 16¾". $1,500 - 1,800
