Lot 454		Vintage Sterling Silver Including Presentation Cup Dated 1815. A collection of early 19th and early 20th century sterling silver. The most interesting is a beautifully crafted silver goblet presented to The Reverend Brooke Bridges Stevens as a "Tribute of Respectful Attachment" by the small market town of Coggeshall, Essex England dated 1815. On the opposing side a coat of arms with the motto Temperato Splendeat In Usu The goblet had been weighted with lead decades ago under the base likely to be more stable while on display. Also included are two small Viennese sterling silver nut bowls (5 ozt) from the mid-1800s and from Sheffield, sterling silver salt and pepper shakers from the mid 1920s (2¾ ozt). Lot 460		3 19th Century Sterling Silver Serving Sets in Original Cases 7pcs. Very well maintained 19th Century serving pieces in original cases. The best set consists of 3 absolutely beautiful large berry spoons, exactly the same elegant design of fruits and berries in repoussé in the oval tapering up the neck to a pattern of diamond shapes and flowers. However the British sterling marks on reverse allude to 3 different makers identified possibly as Barker, Hennell and Savory. Nevertheless one of the most handsome sets we've seen. Second set is two cheese knives, the third set a lovely butter knife and sugar spoon.
