Edison, a scarce Gugliemo Marconi (long range radio transmission), George Eastman (film and photography), Sir Thomas Lipton (Lipton Teas empire), Harvey Firestone (Founder, Firestone Tires), Charles M. Schwab (Bethlehem Steel magnate), Alfred P. Sloan (General Motors, Cancer research, and philanthropist), William Wallace Atterbury (President Pennsylvania R.R.) The Mayo Brothers -- C.H. Mayo and W.J. Mayo, Thomas A. Morgan (Curtiss-Wright Corporation President), and Dr. Henry Welch (Johns Hopkins University). Founder of the Ford Motor Company and industrialist who revolutionized the assembly-line mode of production and made the American car affordable to the average, middle-class consumer, built by skilled workers.Vintage AP newswire Signed Photo ("Henry Ford"), black & white, 8 x 10", from Oct. 30, 1941, signed in blue fountain pen. The photo ran as a feature history piece of the meeting Ford hosted in Detroit through his company's plant with The Duke of Windsor in 1924. Photo has been signed at bottom of image and executed in fine hand, given Ford's age at the time, with news slug running vertically on left hand side. In excellent condition. Harley-Davidson, William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson Signatures, Rare. Founders of the celebrated motorcycle manufacturer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1903. William S. Harley and his childhood friend, Arthur Davidson, both in their young twenties, worked together to create their first motorized bicycle. Shortly thereafter, a factory was built and models produced with improvements sufficient to garner a U.S. Government contract for 15,000 units for combat use during World War I. By 1920, Harley-Davidson was the leading manufacturer of motorcycles worldwide, one of only two motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Depression, rebounding with the manufacture of nearly 100,000 units during WWII.

Two extremely scarce cut signatures of the founders, William S. Harley (1880-1943) and Arthur Davidson (1881-1950) beautifully presented in a matted and framed museum grade display boasting their current logo, measuring 12 x 14½", with both signatures in fountain pen. Rockefeller, John D (1837-1937). One of the most prominent businessman in U.S. history. In 1870, Rockefeller organized the Standard Oil Company and in the course of only 15 years controlled 90% of U.S. refineries and pipelines. With the passing of the Sherman Antitrust Act, Standard Oil was forcibly dissolved for restraint of trade after near historic levels of litigation. Later, focusing on philanthropy, Rockefeller donated more than half a billion dollars to various educational, religious, and scientific causes. Among his activities, he funded the establishment of the University of Chicago and the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research.

Signed vintage original photo ("John D. Rockefeller"), in lead pencil, black & white, 8" x 10", n.p., n.d. Rockefeller looks dapper in a linen suit on the golf course, very much in his later years.
