Pair English, Cased, Flintlock Officer's Pistols, Brass Octagonal Barrels. A brace of officer's pistols, approxiamately .69 calibre.69 bore, octagonal brass barrels, proofed, with detachable Salmon Gough & Boven locks, exhibiting a smooth gray patina slightly engraved with name. Brass furniture on hand checkered walnut stocks. Cased in a fine English walnut case with bullet mold, powder flask, oil case, ramrod, 4 bullets, and with original key. Overall length 11½". An excellent pair of officer's pistols in fine condition. Estimated Value $5,000 - 6,000

C. S. Shattuck, Hatfield, Mass. Pocket Revolver ca. Late 1800s. Interesting pocket revolver manufactured by C.S. Shattuck in the 1880s meausring 6¾" in length. Unusual for its side, swing-out cylinder for loading and ejection. The nickel finish is at about 80%. Flayderman Antique Firearm Guide estimates total production at "a few thousand". The original hard rubber grips are in very fine condition with no chips or cracks. Tip of the hammer spur is chipped off. Has not been test fired but action of pistol is fine. Estimated Value $250 - 350
