Superior Fabergé Recreations, Presentation Box and Ornate Palace Frame. Faithful and exquisite re-creations of original Fabergé jeweled designs originally created by Peter Carl Fabergé at the behest of Tsar Nicholas II. For the Tercentenary celebration (three hundred year anniversary) of the founding of the Romanov Dynasty in Russia, a presentation box was created in deep green translucent enamel guilloché on a ground of both moiré and sunburst chasing. The other, an exquisite recreation of a palace frame rimmed in corded gold and gold rosettes and Austrian crystals, the matte an intense red enamel guilloché in a chevron pattern that creates variations in the color as the light reflects off its surface with stand on verso also detailed with Austrian crystals. Frame is presented in a suede lined enameled box (small unobtrusive ding in upper right corner). These recreations in of themselves are admirable works of art boasting excellent craftsmanship and were available in limited editions through fine jewelery stores.
