Lot 958
1794. PCGS graded EF-40. Nice even toning. First year of issue. Only 7,756 struck. This is a late die state with a bisecting horizontal crack on the reverse through the eagle. A prize for the astute numismatist. These are the first year of issue, and although these were delivered in the early months of 1795, still represent an historic early silver issue. Finding a high grade coin like this is always a challenge! (PCGS # 4250) .
Estimated Value $5,500 - 6,000.
