1825, 5 over 4. B-2. NGC graded MS-63. Virtually untoned and boldly struck throughout. The obverse and reverse are delightful in their satin sheen of luster, with each of Liberty's curls well defined as well as the eagle's feathers. A pale blush of gold is noted through the word UNITED, and a scarce issue at the Choice or finer grade level. A glorious example of this condition rarity. Pop 4; 11 finer for the variety, 7 in 64, 2 in 65, 2 in 66.

1838. B-1. NGC graded MS-64. Nicely toned. A scarce issue to find this well preserved and rare any finer. Furthermore this is the final year of issue of the Capped Bust design, with Gobrecht's new Liberty Seated style appearing on this denomination shortly after this piece was struck, both dated 1838. An elegant and desirable coin. Pop 17; 6 finer for the variety, 2 in 65, 3 in 66, 1 in 67.
