Lot 1017		1856. NGC graded Proof 65. Lovely blue toning. This is one of the finer examples of this early proof issue and a gem that will enhance any specialized collection. The surfaces are pleasing as the mirror finish is fresh and undisturbed while the fine nuances of the devices all show bold striking and ample mint frost. Lot 1018		1857. PCGS graded Proof 65. Nice rainbow toning. These early proofs are quite rare and highly collectible. Notice the depth of the strike on the legends as well as the tiny stars.
