1856. NGC graded Proof 65. Lovely blue toning. This is one of the finer examples of this early proof issue and a gem that will enhance any specialized collection. The surfaces are pleasing as the mirror finish is fresh and undisturbed while the fine nuances of the devices all show bold striking and ample mint frost. An opportunity for the date collector to secure one of these seldom seen proof issues. Only 60 struck. Pop 5; 2 finer in 66.

1857. PCGS graded Proof 65. Nice rainbow toning. These early proofs are quite rare and highly collectible. Notice the depth of the strike on the legends as well as the tiny stars. Each if full and complete, features rarely seen even approaching this depth on business strikes. Glorious toning, magnificent quality and stunning eye appeal, what's not to love about this coin?
