[Cubists] Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. First Edition Book signed, "Picasso / 6.1.67" in pencil on the title page of Pablo Picasso. Four Themes, The Folio Society, London, 1961. Grey boards with black spine and gilt titles, 11½ x 8½". Very good. With portrait from an art book signed "G. Braques", 12 x 9½".

Pisarro, Camille (1830-1903) Danish-French Impressionist, Neo-Impressionist and Pointillist painter, considered a father figure to the first two groups; he was the only artist to show his work at all eight Paris Impressionist exhibitions, from 1874 to 1886.

Autograph letter signed ("C. Pissarro") on black-bordered stationery, 1p, in French, 6¾ x 4½", Paris, June 2, 1898. To an unidentified correspondent, "I am at the hotel every morning from 10 to 11 o'clock. I will only be in Paris for two more days…." Very fine. Boldly penned and signed.

Warhol, Andy (1928-1987) American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture and advertisement that flourished by the 1960s. Original drawing of a Campbell's tomato soup can, signed below the drawing, on an 11 x 8½" piece of cardboard. Warhol drew three large dollar signs on the can.
