C.V. Rees. Marilyn Monroe. Bust of Marilyn Monroe signed on the back, "C.V. Rees, 17/100 1992"; 15 in. high and 11 in. across, on a base 12 in. across and 1½ in. thick. Her expression is pensive and vulnerable, but still sultry. In 1989 Rees completed a full-length sculpture of Marilyn in her famous gold lamé dress. It is his most famous work and this is a bust of that figure. A great display piece. Estimated Value $500 - 600
