Bronze Sculpture of Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Jiminy Cricket. Bronze sculpture by artist Brett Livingston Strong. Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck lounge on Walt Disney's chair, which has Disney's hat, coat, and pipe on one arm. Jiminy Cricket perches on the back of the chair and Goofy leans on the chair. Pluto sits in front of the chair. The lyrics to the song "When you wish upon a star" are engraved on the back of the chair, with Tinker Bell flitting above. Below the lyrics, "Walt Disney 1901-1966" is engraved. Approximately 13" high, including a 2½" marble base, which has a circumference of 14". Weight is 63 lbs. The sculpture was intended to be a mold for a limited edition porcelain celebrating Disney's 50th anniversary, but the project did not come to fruition. The welding is loose where Goofy's arm was attached to the arm of the chair; otherwise, in excellent condition. A wonderful, unique Disney display item.

Artist Brett Livingston Strong is known for his sculptures of Hollywood celebrities, including John Lennon and John Wayne. In 1990, Strong painted a portrait of Michael Jackson which reportedly sold for $2.1 million, making it the most money ever paid to a living artist for the sale of a portrait. Strong was a close friend of Jackson's and he currently co-owns a large collection of Jackson's artwork. Estimated Value $15,000 - 25,000
