1864 Indian Head Cent. Bronze, with "L". NGC graded MS-62 Brown. Popular Key Date. The first 1864 bronze cents were issued without the designer's initial. Tribute to Longacre was then provided with a small L cleverly hidden on the end of the LIBERTY ribbon at the back of the neck. The With L 1864 cents are scarcer.

1922. No D. Weak Reverse. PCGS graded Fine-12. CAC Approved. These must be graded by the reverse since the Missing D obverse was well worn, past its due-date. Belief among coin collectors is that some spot of grease or other foreign matter occluded the mint mark on the die which struck a few thousand Cents where the "D" no longer shows. As if it were a 1922-P coin! Famous for more than three-quarters of a century (PCGS # 2540) .
