Antique Mahogany Stamp Dispenser by J.C. Cox. Brass coin slot at top with glass mounted in the locking door showing the coin slot movement, with a white enameled plaque reading "by her majesty's royal letter patents fitted with patent return check bell J.C. Cox inventor, patentee & manufacturer, 174 queen victoria street. london e.c." Having a brass handle on the front which moves from side to side and the coins drop into a locking drawer in the base (no key). The stamps stored on a rack at the left, mirror behind with wooden backing, also having a wooden bowl set into the top of the base. Although a portion of the glass is cracked, this is a fine and most unusual philatelic item. 17" x 16½".

Russian, Faberge-Style Cigarette Case. This fabulous piece is encased in sterling silver with a raised leaf deign decorating the edges. Front has a mustard colored surface with a finely sculpted sunburst design flowing from a sapphire and diamond circle (5/8" in diameter). Case measures 2 x 3½ in with a thickness of 3/8 in. This case is inscribed in Russian, most likely from parents to child, and loosely translates to "Poliaineke, Congratulating you on being a young adult on this birthday - From Sylvia and Volias May 1947."

American Art Glass - Tidepool by James E. Nowak. A mangificent full bodied hand blown work of art. This work is alive with intense colors bursting with flora and fauna. In superb condition and on a custom stand. Diameter: 23". Nowak's work was inspired by his good friend and collegue, Dale Chihuly whom he studied under. Both Chihuly and Nowak still live in Seattle, Washington. Includes a full biography of the Artist and his works.

  Antique Japanese Silk Brocade Purse From Gump's San Francisco. Lovely purse made of obi cloth (used to make sashes for kimonos), with a jade clasp. It contains a change purse of the same fabric and a mirror. Gump's label is inside. Size is 6¼ x 9½". Gump's originally opened in 1861 but burned down during the fire following the 1906 earthquake. After the store was rebuilt, it featured many exotic collectibles from the Far East.
