1838. Stars No Drapery. PCGS graded MS-62+ CAC Approved. Well struck. A transition occurred in 1838 when the Mint, possibly in order to standardize the circulating silver coin designs, added stars around Liberty on the Half Dimes and Dimes. Lustrous and delicately toned (PCGS # 4317) .
