Lot 1658
1869, $10 United States Note. PCGS Choice About New 55. Fr-96. . KL-362. A corner fold and some very minor paper toning limit the technical grade, however the aesthetic appeal of this Rainbow "Jackass" Ten are above average. The colors are rich and vibrant, and the paper displays no mentionable flaws other than those already mentioned. A high grade piece that is certain to cost less than an "uncirculated" example, but that doesn't look any less impressive to the casual observer.
Estimated Value $2,250 - 2,750.

Lot 1659
1901, $10 United States Note. PCGS Extremely Fine 40PPQ. Fr-119. . KL-385. A lovely Bison note with magnificent colors, terrific margins, and outstanding aesthetic appeal. A few storage folds limit and define the assigned grade, however it is basically an "uncirculated" note that was folded a long time ago for storage. A splendid high grade circulated note that is likely to bring a strong premium in today's market where originality is highly prized and valued.
Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,500.
