1808. . BD-3, Normal 5D, Breen-6456. PCGS graded MS-62. Housed in a First Generation Holder. Well struck and frosty. Only 55,578 pieces struck for the year. Normal spacing between the 5 and D in the denomination, perfect date. This variety marks the last use of this hard-working reverse. Dannreuther suggest a rarity rating of 4, with perhaps as few as 125 to 125 known! Luster everywhere, with only a smidgen of softness along the edge of the left wing on the eagle (facing). Perfect rims, great detail and brillilance. Borrowing from Shakespeare: "As you like it!" Pop 25; 30 finer, 15 in 63, 13 in 64, 2 in 65 (PCGS # 8102) .
