ASTP, 1975, FLOWN Mylar Foil (30x.25mm) This small triangula rpiece of foil is attached to a 1975 USS New Orleans (Prime) recovery ship cachet cover with a July 24 San Francisco pictorial cds. In addition to the handstamped ship cachet, there is a rectangular boxed cachet that reads: "The affixed….is an actual piece of the US Apollo-Soyuz Command Module #111 Spacecraft flown in space July 15-25, 1975. It was taken from the CM crew compartment heat shield after splash-down and is a very thin pressure-sensitive Kapton polyimide tape for the CM's thermal protection subsystem." A Carston Fuchs German COA is included. Unusual, scarce and attractive.

ASTP, 1975, Stafford, Brand, Slayton, Leonov, Kubasov Autographs. On the mat (framed to 14.5x11.5") surrounding a color photo of the mission patch (9x7"). The Leonov autograph is slightly faded, otherwise the piece is clean and attractive.

Lot of four different autographed covers including 1) a 1972 Event cachet cover signed by Chris Kraft (MSC Director) and Glynn Lunney (ASTP Director), 2) a 1973 Event cachet cover signed by Stafford, Schatalov and Yelisseyev, 3) a 1975 Event cachet cover signed by astronauts Stafford, Brand and Slayton and 4) a 1975 USS New Oleans (Prime) recovery ship cover with a magenta handstamped ship cachet and a July 24 San Francisco pictorial cancel signed by Rear Admiral Wentworth (Commander Manned Spacecraft Recovery Force, Pacific). An unusual and interesting lot.

ASTP, 1975, "UDT Recvoery Team" Autographed Flyer. A striking flyer picturing the 14 members of the UDT team who were assigned to the safe recovery of the ASTP crew. This attractive black and white flyer is seldom available. A great addition to any ASTP collection.

ASTP, 1975, 10c ASTP Stamp VARIETY. Showing a shading variety in the Apollo Soyuz emblem on both a mint pair and on a single used on an ASTP "Splashdown" cover. Seldom available. ALSO a very unusual, large size cover (17x11.5") with a full sheet of the US "Space Achievement" stamps tied by a May 21, 1981 KSC FDC cancel. There is a handpainted cachet by "van Wapy" on one end of the cover with a fold between the cachet and the stamps. ALSO a empty aluminum pouch from a portion of freeze dried space food, "Astronaut Peaches." (Good to the last drop!). An unusual lot.

Skylab 2-4, 1973-1974, FLOWN US Flag (6x4") mounted on a presentation certificate in its original frame (14.5x11.5") The certificate reads: "This flag was flown aboard the Skylab space station 1973-1974." Other than some aging around the edges of the certificate and the usual glue stains under the flag, this is a classic presentation.

Skylab 2-4, 1973-1974, Presentation Board with Autopen Autographs. On the mat (framed tp 15x12") surrounding a color photo of the astronauts and the Space Station. This is a classic piece with autopen autographs of all nine astronauts who flew on the station. Slight fading, but a classic and attractive piece.
