1950s Celebrity Photo -. A group of approximately 90 photos, most 8 x 10 in. and from the 1950s, many of them shown with Kendis Rochlen, who was the movie columnist with the Los Angeles Mirror-News. Stars include Bette Davis, Sophia Loren, Steve McQueen, Joan Crawford, Dean Martin, Debbie Reynolds, Jimmy Stewart, James Cagney, David Niven, Ernie Kovacs, Dinah Shore, Lucille Ball, James Garner, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Tony Perkins, Imogen Coca, and others. Several are of Kendis alone. Overall condition is very good.

Gable, Clark, Kay, and John Clark. Three 8 x 10 in. photographs, two of them inscribed by Gable's fifth wife, Kay Williams Spreckles Gable, to Kendis Rochlen, who was the movie columnist for the Los Angeles Mirror-News during the 1950s. One is of Clark and Kay Gable with President Eisenhower and says, "Dearest Kendis, Ned, and James, Merry Merry Christmas '58, Clark, Kathleen and 'Friend' --Love too!" A second photo is of Kay and John Clark Gable, born in March 1961, four months after his father's death. The third is inscribed to Kendis and Ned and signed "John Clark and Mama, Hawaii 1962." Fine.

Monroe, Marilyn. Three Marilyn Monroe color negatives, 5 x 4 in., from a February 25, 1956 interview with Kendis Rochlen, who was the movie columnist with the Los Angeles Mirror-News. Marilyn, who appears radiant, was announcing the formation of Marilyn Monroe Productions and also her appearance in Bus Stop, the 20th Century Fox film directed by William Inge. Excellent condition.
