[Nine First Ladies, A First Mother & Sister-in-law & A First Brother]. Eighteen items: Card printed "Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt," inscribed and signed, "for Mr. Price Edith K. Roosevelt"; an index card signed Eleanor Roosevelt, giving her favorite song as "Silent Night" and a postcard thanking a lady for her "gift to the children of Porto Rico"; Bess Truman, a personal card engraved "Mrs. Truman and signed "Bess Wallace Truman" on the verso, and a larger card signed "Bess Truman"; Mamie Doud Eisenhower, one card signed, along with four unsigned, engraved cards (two with her name, one with "General and Mrs. Eisenhower," one with "The President and Mrs. Eisenhower," and one with "The President of the United States of America"); a personal card engraved on one side and signed on verso, "Mrs. Lyndon B. Johnson"; two cards signed Betty Ford, one engraved "The White House / Washington"; a personal, engraved card signed and inscribed "with best wishes, Pat Nixon"; four items signed by Barbara Bush: a letter as First Lady to a Salvation Army officer with holograph note, "I would do anything to help the army"; a copy of the Salvation Army magazine, "The War Cry" signed and inscribed as First Lady, "To: Harry Sparks, all good wishes…"; a card engraved with a White House vignette and her name and a card engraved with the Vice President's residence (both cards signed); and a 1990 letter signed by Nancy Reagan to a Salvation Army official about a dinner which she regretted missing. Also, a postcard portrait of President John F. Kennedy signed on the verso, "Best wishes / Rose Fitzgerald Kenndy," a small blank card signed by Ethel Kennedy, and a color postcard of Billy Carter signed on the back. All fine except Mrs. Reagan's letter, which was torn and taped together. (18 signed items).
