Iron Age II Terracotta Vessel Group, circa 1000-800 B.C. Consists of: a. Amphoriskos with 2 small handles and banded stripes. Minor chips, still quite choice. Height 9". b. Large decanter with single handle and red slip. Superb condition, height 9". c. Single handle juglet with greyish slip. Height 4½". d. Three small juglets, all with grey slips, each approximately. 3½" height. Lot of 6 items.

Cuneiform Clay Tablet, c. 2000 BC (35 x 40mm). Receipt for beer. Incused stamp depicts Moon-god Sin, chief diety of Ur, seated left, with standing figure on the left. Inscribed in the Sumerian language of Abraham. Superb condition.
