1909 World Series Panorama. 14¾ x 38¾ in. "Opening Game World's Championship Series. Supplement to the Index - Pittsburg's Illustrated Weekly, October 16th, 1909." Views of the left and right wing grandstands are at either side of a shot of the playing field, with "Cobb at bat, Crawford on deck, Jennings, coaching." At lower left is a photo of the Detroit Tigers; the Pittsburgh Pirates are pictured at lower right. Bust images of Barney Dreyfuss, president of the National League, and Frank Navin, president of the American League, are at bottom center. Framed to 21 x4 5½ in. Fine, with normal folds. The Pirates won in seven games.

1927 New York Yankees Photograph. 7½ x 9½ in. period print of a photograph of the historic 1927 team, considered one of the best, if not the best, of all time, with six Hall of Famers, led by Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. With facsimile signatures of each team member. Damage at lower right affects three names, but the images are nice and clear.

1955 Brooklyn Dodgers Scouting Letter. Typed letter on "Baseball" letterhead, signed by Charley Segar as Secretary-Treasurer, and date-lined New York, September 16, 1955. Written to Bob Finch at the National Association in Columbus, Ohio. He writes: "Mr. Bavasi, of the Brooklyn Dodgers, has approved of the following: Havana to contact Amoros, Mayaguez to contact Roebuck, Mayaguez to contact Howell, Santurce to contact Fernandez [written in pencil after this is 'we're waiting for reason on this'], Mayaguez to contact Cimoli, Santurce to contact Don Zimmer…." The National Association was the governing body of Minor League Baseball. Segar is informing Finch, as a courtesy, about players who would be involved in the upcoming Winter League season. Fine condition.

Buzzie Bavasi was general manager of the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers. He helped lead his team to four World Series championships, including the franchise's only win while in Brooklyn. That win took place in 1955, beginning on September 28, twelve days after this letter was written. The Dodgers beat the Yankees in seven games and Sandy Amoros was the hero of the Dodgers' seventh-game win and the Series. Ed Roebuck, Don Zimmer, and Dixie Howell were on the Dodgers' 1955 roster. Gino Cimoli and Chico Fernandez were minor leaguers who would debut with the Dodgers in 1956.

Wooden plaque with 6 x 9 in. black and white autograph picture of New York Yankee's Yogi Berra embracing pitcher Don Larsen upon completion of his perfect game on 10-8-56, during the 1956 World Series. Includes encased baseball card size photo of same from upper deck. To date, this is the only perfect game pitched in a World Series. Larsen was named the World Series MVP. Baseball Signed by Babe Ruth, Joe Di Maggio, Casey Stengel, and Others. American League Baseball with 20 signatures, mostly New York Yankees. Babe Ruth signed on the sweet spot, nice and bold in black ink. Other players who signed include: Ford Frick, Joe DiMaggio, Casey Stengel, Frank Frisch, Herb Pennock, Kenesaw Landis, Joe Duga, Johnny Murphy, Joe Cronin, Joe Cook, Joe Medwick, Lou Little, Bill Terry, and Jimmy Braddock (the boxer?).

This ball has been in the same family since 1938, when Norman Kirmer obtained the signatures by crashing a Press Club dinner honoring past and present players at the Ambassador Hotel in New York City. Excellent condition with the Ruth signature BOLD. Accompanied by a sworn, notarized letter from Norman Kirmer.

Bonds, Barry - 1992 Pittsburg Pirates Game-Used Jersey. The jersey is framed so that only the back, with "BONDS" on a white nameplate and the player number "24" is visible. A letter of authenticity from Grey Flannel Auctions, which accompanies the jersey and was written before the present owner had it framed, has the following information: "Inside the front left tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with washing instructions and jersey size "42" on it. Attached is a flag tag reading "SET 1 1992." Across the front of the jersey is "PIRATES." Below that and on the back is the play number "24". Across the back is "BONDS" on a white nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in black on gold tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Pirates" logo patch. The jersey shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The jersey has been framed for display to an overall size of 37 x 40¼ in.

Caminiti, Ken - 1998 San Diego Padres Game-Worn Jersey (1963-2004) Pull-over knit jersey by Mitchell and Ness. The front has "San Diego Padres" and the number "21"; the back has the name "Caminiti" and the number "21"; names and numbers are in single tackle twill. The manufacturer's tag is on the outside tail, the size tag is in the collar and the year I.D. is on a strip tagged on the tail. A patch on the left sleeve has "1978 ASG." Caminiti played third base for San Diego 1995-98 and wore #21 in 1998. The jersey shows light wear. A Letter of Opinion from Memorabilia Evaluation and Research Services, signed by Troy Kinunen and Dave Bushing, comes with the jersey. Caminiti died on 10 October 2004 from a heart attack brought on by a drug overdose.

Sandy Koufax Hand-Signed Jersey (1935 -) Left-handed pitcher who played his entire career (1955-66) for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers. His 165-87 record included a career ERA of 2.76, 2,396 strikeouts, 137 complete games, and 40 career shutouts. He was the National League MVP in 1963, the Cy Young award winner in 1963, 65 and '66, and World Series MVP in 1963 and 1965. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972, the same year the Dodgers retired his No. 32.

Koufax' "Dodgers 32" jersey is handsigned in black ink. The jersey's label has "Nostalgia Co. Made In U.S.A. Mitchell & Ness, Philadelphia, PA" and is size L. The matte is blue with a red border. Framed to 22¼ x 40 in. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA.

Mohammad Ali - Handsigned Photo With the Beatles. Black and white, 19½ x 23½ in. photo of Ali clowning around with the Beatles, who are lying on the canvas as Ali pounds his chest. Ali signed in blue sharpie across his white shorts. Excellent condition. The oversize photo has been matted and framed to an overall size of 27 x 31 in. In 1964 Ali became World Heavyweight Champion. Moore, Archie. Gold Boxing Medals and Photo Album (1913-1998) Light heavyweight boxing champion (1952-59, 1961); only fighter to face both Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali. Still holds the record for most career knockouts (145).

Consists of an 18 kt gold fob holding seven 18 kt gold medallions, some with enamel inlays, given to Moore by Juan Peron, the Olympic committee, and other Argentinian officials between 1952 and 1954. Total weight approximately 130 grams all 18 kt yellow gold (4 troy oz.)

Also included: "Middle Weight Champion of the World / Souvenir of his visit to Buenos Aires, Sept. 1954." Archive consists of a fine leather bound and engraved album featuring 46 black & white photos taken during Moore's Argentinian tours in the early 1950's, including shots of Moore sparring in the ring, Moore engaging in local traditions, and several with Jack Dempsey. Never before offered.

Bell, Bert & Jim Ray Smith - NFL Football Contract. National Football League Standard Players Contract between the Cleveland Browns and James Ray Smith, for the 1957 football season, 19¾ x 8 in. Signed in 1955 by Bert Bell as Commissioner of the NFL and twice by Smith, once on the front and once on the back, acknowledging receipt of $500 for signing the contract. Smith played nine seasons in the NFL, most of with the Cleveland Browns. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1987 (he was an All American at Baylor). Bell was co-founder of the Philadelphia Eagles, co-owner and coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers and commissioner of the National Football League from 1946 until his death in 1959. A few small edge splits, else fine.

Spelled out in an array of bright and pastel hues, the posters decree "Bienvenue" at the top and display "LA 84" and "Play A Part In History" below. The XXIII Olympiad was hosted in Los Angeles from July 28-Aug. 12, 1984. Both feature minor handling wear, else near mint condition.
