  Space Literature & Balance of Collection. A fascinating, one-carton lot that includes a variety of NASA books including "Earth Photographs from Gemini VI through XII" (NASA SP-171 (1968), "The Moon as Viewed by Lunar Orbiter" (NASA SP-200, 1970), "Skylab/ Explores the Earth" (NASA SP-380, 1977), "Skylab/EREP Investigations Summary" (NASA SP-399, 1978), "Space Physiology and Medicine" (NASA SP-447, 1982), etc. There are other hard and soft cover publications as well as some historic newspapers, etc. A great lot to add to any library. Usual mixed condition but the books are generally quite clean.

Balance of Collection. A carton of pure pleasure. We note some autographs, original Slayton documents, news clippings, "ASTP" official and behind-the-scenes photos from NASA and the Russian space agency, an ASTP "CSM Rendezvous Book, 5th Opportunity" multi-page NASA checklist, a Kubasov 1978 signed Christmas card, copies of Presidential letters to Deke, and Slayton's preliminary copy of "Skylab / Visual Observations Book" (fascinating) and assorted Mercury and later publicity photos and clippings. Mixed condition, but worth examination.

Balance of Consignment. A diverse lot that includes a 1971 mock up of a Hammack report entitled "The Role of the Space Shuttle in the National Space Program". What is interesting about this report are the original color photos that have been pasted into it for illustration purposes. Also included are wedding invitations from John Glenn (for his daughter Carolyn Ann), James Lovell (for his daughter Barbara Lynn), and from Alan Shepard (for his daughters Juliana and Laura Louise), a 1959 blueprint entitled "Recovery Diagram for Atlas Ablation Shot", some space medallions (STS-3, International Aeronautical Congress 1997) and Apollo 11 plaques, a 1987 typed letter from James Lovell re his North Pole trip, 18 different NACA and NASA technical reports and flight reports, etc. A great, diverse lot.

Misc, 1960-70s, NASA Publicity Photos. About 100 NASA 8x10" color/black and white publicity photos including about 50 with red ID numbers. We note mostly Gemini and Apollo photos and some lithographs with nice lots of Apollo 17 and ASTP photos. Mixed condition but much that is worth a second look.

Literature, NASA Publications. Lot of three different soft cover publications including "Project Ranger" (1971, JPL + HR 2), "Voyage to Jupiter" (1980, NASA SP-439) and "Life in the Universe" (1981, NASA CP-2156) plus three different NASA hard cover "Astronauts and Aeronautics" (1975, 1976, 1978). A nice lot of hard-to-find books generally in excellent condition.

  Misc, 1995, International Astronautical Academy Certificate, Etc. A fascinating 1995 document in Latin with official seal attesting to the election of Jerome Hammack to membership in this famous Academy. Professionally matted and framed (17x20"). A great addition to any collection. ALSO a group of three different NASA color presentation photos (all matted to 16x20") depicting 1) the Gemini "Agena" docking vehicle as seen from space, 2) the Mercury launch vehicle being mated to its gantry on the pad, and 3) an Apollo recovery photo showing the capsule, frogmen and recovery ship. All three are slightly faded from having been on display, but an attractive group of original pieces of memorabilia.
