Lot 5174
1934, $1000 Federal Reserve Note Star Note. CGA About Uncirculated 50. . Fr-2211-L*. This rare $1,000 star note is one of the higher grade examples that we have seen, as most in the census are in lower grades. A single vertical fold and a corner fold at bottom right are the only mentionable grade-limiting factors, and the bit of circulation soil that is present is more indicative of the note's originality than a flaw. A rare note that is worthy of attention from serious small size specialists or high denomination star note enthusiasts.
Estimated Value $8,000 - 10,000.
